SMART HOME INSTALLATION
Any terms or conditions sought to be imposed by either party shall not be incorporated into the contract and shall
have no effect unless agreed to in writing by the other party.
The price for the supply of good and services are set out in our quote. Smartn Ltd will invoice the customer and a
50% deposit will be due for payment on placement of an order. The balance of the invoice shall be due and
payable on completion of installation excluding deposit payment. Should the customer cancel their order the
deposit will remain non-refundable. Smartn Ltd shall be entitled to charge interest on overdue invoices from the
date when payment becomes due from day to day until the date of payment at a rate of 5% per annum above the
base rate of the Bank of England.
Smartn Ltd agrees to identify compatible products for your home and install the equipment listed in a
workmanlike manner, connect all smart home devices and provide customer support contact details in
accordance with the following conditions:
A. The customer will make premises available without interruption during Smartn ltd’s normal working hours,
Monday through Saturday, excluding public holidays.
B. Where the customer doesn’t purchase a tablet from Smartn Ltd the customer understands that the installer will
require access to a smart phone or tablet to add apps and synchronise the Smart Home Devices.
C. The customer agrees to provide 240 AC electrical outlets at the designated locations for equipment requiring
D. The customer understands that although most of the equipment does not require redecoration following
installation, there may be some products where this is required. Smartn Ltd is not liable for any redecoration.
E. The customer will obtain any necessary consents including but not limited to any permissions necessary should
the property form part of a listed building or the permission of a landlord where required. Smartn reserve the
right to check all necessary permissions before carrying out any installation. Smartn are not liable for your failure
to obtain any necessary consent.
Synchronization with previously installed Smart Home equipment is not provided unless already quoted as part of
the customer order.
4. Title to the equipment is to remain with Smartn Ltd until the full purchase price is paid which will fall due upon
installation. Failure to pay the purchase price of the installed equipment when due shall give Smartn Ltd the right,
without obligation to repossess that equipment with or without notice, and to avail itself of any legal remedy. Any
costs for collection, including reasonable legal fees are at the customer’s expense.
5. All installations are covered by a free 60 day parts and labour support package. All materials and equipment will
be repaired or replaced at Smartn ltd’s option with a new or functional operative part. Labour and material
required to repair or replace such defective components or to make mechanical adjustments to the system will be
free of charge for the duration of the 60 day support period. During this period, the customer must allow Smartn
ltd remote access to a device with the smart home apps installed by the installer if required.
